Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park


Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park is a 38 acre beachfront park run by the Monmouth County Park System. The park is located in the north end of the City of Long Branch and its borders span approximately from Sea View Avenue up to Atlantic Avenue. The park's main entrance and parking areas are accessible on Joline Avenue however there is also a parking lot on Atlantic Avenue and there is paid municipal parking on surrounding roads.

Seven presidents has a number of attractions and ammeneties including the Skateplex skate park, Tony's Place children's play element, snack bar, vending machines, and almost 3/4 of a mile of beachfront.

The beach was recently replenished with sand and there is ample beach space for crowds even when the parking lots are full. There are multiple man-made groins suitable for fishing and surfing near and there is a boat-launch area for personal watercraft.

During the summer months, from Memorial Day through Labor Day, the park charges admission and seasonal passes are available.

Lifeguards are on duty starting Memorial Day weekend guarding weekends through mid June. From mid June through Labor Day, lifeguards are on duty every day. Lifeguards say on duty one weekend after Labor Day.

Currently there are three major bathing areas guarded by four lifeguard stands. Moving from north to south, our stands are identified by street names: Atlantic Ave., Kiernan North, Kiernan South, and Joline Ave. During guarded months, bathing areas are designated by flags or bathing lines.
